Big Blow to Chirag Paswan : 128 Leaders Resign from LGPR
Saran(The Uttam Hindu): In Saran, Bihar, 128 office bearers of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) [LJP(R)] have collectively resigned from the party. This announcement was made in a meeting held near Yoginiya Kothi Durga Mandir on Sunday.
Details of the Resignations
1. Saran Committee: 28 office bearers resigned.
2. Block Presidents: 16 out of 20 block presidents in the district left the party.
3. Metropolitan Unit: The entire metropolitan unit resigned.
4. Parliamentary Board: 3 members resigned.
5. Mahila Morcha: 11 out of 19 office bearers, including the district president, left the party.
6. Chhapra Metropolis: 20 ward presidents resigned.
The block presidents who resigned include those of Sonpur, Dighwara, Dariyapur, Parsa, Amanour, Maker, Taraiya, Baniapur, Madhaura, Ekma, Panapur, Chhapra Sadar, Riwilganj, and Isuapar.
Background
Earlier, there was news of 38 leaders resigning in Khagaria. According to LJP(R) state secretary Dr. Pawan Jaiswal and newly appointed district president Manish Kumar, misleading news was spread by former district president Shivraj Yadav and others. Out of those 38 leaders, 28 have expressed loyalty towards party national president Chirag Paswan.
