Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from the Faridpur assembly constituency, died of a heart attack on Friday. The news of his death has sent shockwaves throughout the district and political circles.

The surprising thing is that Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal had celebrated his birthday only yesterday (Thursday), but who knew that he would say goodbye to everyone the very next day.

The minister's health deteriorated during a meeting at the Circuit House

According to reports, MLA Shyam Bihari Lal was present at the Circuit House in Bareilly on Friday afternoon. State Livestock Minister Dharampal Singh was holding an important meeting, attended by several public representatives and officials. During the meeting, Dr. Lal suddenly felt severe chest pain.

Initially, they thought it was normal, but his condition quickly deteriorated. Onlookers immediately arranged for an ambulance, and he was rushed to Medicity Hospital. Doctors attempted every effort to save him, including CPR, but he died during treatment.

Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal was elected MLA from the Faridpur Assembly constituency for the second consecutive term. Before entering politics, he was involved in the education sector and served as a professor at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University. His passing is an irreparable loss to both the fields of education and politics.

Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal leaves behind a full family. He includes his wife, Manjulata, two daughters, and a son. One of his daughters is posted as a Defense Estate Officer in Bareilly. As soon as news of the MLA's death spread, a crowd of BJP leaders, administrative officials, and supporters began gathering at his residence.
