According to police, the arrested accused has been identified as Chintada Ravindra, stationed at INS Dega in Visakhapatnam. The young woman who was brutally murdered has been identified as Monica. Their relationship began in 2021 through a dating app. Gradually, they grew closer, and they began meeting secretly in various parks and theaters in Visakhapatnam.

The reason behind this horrific incident is also very shocking. The police officer said that during interrogation, the accused confessed that Monica had allegedly taken Rs 3.5 lakh from him. According to the accused, Monica had repeatedly threatened him that she would tell his wife everything about their relationship. The two often had heated arguments over this issue. On the day of the incident, Ravindra had called Monica to his flat to talk, where a heated argument broke out between them. In a fit of rage, the accused first strangled her to death and then, in a horrific manner, dismembered her body and threw it in different places.
