Mulayam Singh Yadav's son Prateek announces divorce from BJP leader Aparna Yadav, cites 'selfishness' and damaged family ties
Lucknow (The Uttam Hindu) : Controversy has once again erupted within the family of Samajwadi Party founder and late leader Mulayam Singh Yadav. This time, the dispute involves his younger son, Prateek Yadav, and his wife, Aparna Yadav. Prateek Yadav shared a post on the social media platform Instagram, announcing his imminent divorce from his wife, Aparna Yadav.
In his Instagram post, Prateek Yadav has made serious allegations against his wife. He called Aparna Yadav selfish and an evil spirit, saying that she has ruined family relationships. Sharing a picture of his wife in the post, Prateek Yadav wrote that he is going to divorce her as soon as possible. Prateek Yadav wrote in the Instagram post, "I am going to divorce this selfish woman as soon as possible. She has ruined my family relationships. She just wants to become famous and influential."
In the post, Prateek Yadav further stated, "Right now, my mental health is very poor, and she doesn't care because she's only concerned about herself. I've never seen such a terrible woman, and I was unlucky to be married to her." However, Aparna Yadav has yet to comment on the entire matter. No other family member has publicly commented on the controversy.
Aparna Yadav is the younger daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav. She is currently a member of the BJP and serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh Women's Commission. Aparna Yadav joined the BJP in 2022. She married Prateek Yadav in 2011. Their wedding was a lavish and high-profile affair.
