To help him, an elderly woman opens the large iron gate and the young man takes the vehicle inside. After this, as the woman starts closing the gate, the Thar suddenly starts backing up rapidly. The woman's screams can be heard in the video, but the vehicle pushes her backwards and crashes directly into a concrete wall. Amidst this horrific scene, the woman is completely trapped and crushed between the Thar and the wall.
A mistake by the grandson took the life of the grandmother
According to reports, this horrific incident occurred around 8:30 pm on Thursday night in the alley in front of the New LIC Building in Farrukhabad's Awas Vikas Colony. However, CCTV footage of the tragic accident has now surfaced. According to locals, the young man parking the Thar was none other than the elderly woman's grandson. During the parking, the vehicle suddenly went into reverse gear, and this negligence led to the horrific accident.
The deceased Sarla Katiyar was retired from the health department
The 70-year-old woman who lost her life in this tragic accident has been identified as Sarla Katiyar. According to reports, she was a retired employee of the health department. Her son owns a medical store in Farrukhabad called Nirmala Medical Store. On Thursday evening, when her grandson returned home with his Thar, the grandmother lovingly went to open the door for him. She had no idea that this vehicle would become the cause of her death in the next moment. The entire family is in mourning after the accident.
