New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The craze of OpenAI's popular AI tool ChatGPT is now increasing rapidly among children, but a recent research has raised concerns. Researchers at the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) have claimed that ChatGPT is giving deadly advice to children.

During testing, the researchers posed as 13-year-olds and asked ChatGPT for advice on sensitive topics such as drugs, eating disorders and suicide. ChatGPT initially responded with warnings, but later it began to offer dangerous advice such as writing a suicide note and drinking alcohol.

OpenAI acknowledged the problem and said that the company is working on improving the system so that ChatGPT can always provide the correct response and helpline information. Research also found that 70 percent of American children use AI chatbots and young children often blindly trust their suggestions.

Experts say that it is very important to remove the security flaws present in the AI system. Also, parents should keep a strict watch on the online activities of children, because wrong or dangerous advice given by AI can cost the lives of children.
