Lucknow/New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): Lucknow's astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla returned to India from America on Sunday morning. He landed at Delhi airport, where he was welcomed by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. During this, his father Shambhu Dayal Shukla was also present.
Shubhanshu can meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. After this, he will go to Bangalore and will participate in ISRO's International Space-Day celebration on August 23. He is expected to reach his home in Lucknow on August 25. Expressing happiness, his mother said, *"He may be a celebrity for the world, but for me he is still my little son. I am eagerly waiting for his arrival."
Shubhanshu flew to India from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Texas on August 16. He posted on social media and wrote – “Yun hi chala chal rahi… life is a vehicle, time is a wheel. I am eager to reach my country.”
It is worth noting that under Axium Mission-4, four astronauts including Shubhanshu Shukla left for the International Space Station (ISS) on 25 June. On 26 June, they reached the ISS at 4:01 pm Indian time. After staying there for 18 days, they returned on 15 July with a safe landing on the California coast.
