The company has said in its official blog that with the new features, users will be able to easily find more and more channels and businesses. Giving information, the company said that we are going to introduce some new features for our 'Update' tab.

WhatsApp wrote in the blog, "We've worked over the past two years to make this tab the place for you to discover something new on WhatsApp and now it is used by 1.5 billion people every day. We are inspired by the enthusiasm of our users and want to help admins, organizations and businesses on WhatsApp. "

According to the information given in the official blog, three new changes will be seen in the 'Updates' tab of the WhatsApp app with channel subscription, promoted channel and ads in status. Currently, the user gets the facility of status and channels on the 'Updates' tab on WhatsApp.

The company has said that with 'Channel Subscription' on this tab, users can subscribe and support their favorite channels. They can get exclusive updates from the channel with a monthly fee. This is WhatsApp's most important step regarding monetization since it was acquired by Meta in 2014.

In addition, the company said, "When you're looking in the directory, we'll help you discover new channels that may be of interest to you. For the first time, admins will have a way to increase the visibility of their channel." Similarly, users will now also see ads from WhatsApp in their status.

According to the information given by the company, it will now be easier to find a new business. Users will be able to easily start a conversation with a business by mentioning a product or service promoted by the business in their status.

The new changes introduced on WhatsApp will be seen on the 'Updates' tab, which means that users will not face any interruption or problem with their personal messaging with the 'Chats' tab. These new features have not been launched by the company yet, new changes will be introduced very soon.
