Dubai (The Uttam Hindu): The Asia Cup 2025 begins today, Tuesday, September 9, with the opening match between Afghanistan and Hong Kong at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The match is expected to be thrilling as both teams are known for their aggressive style in T20 cricket.

Since 2014, Afghanistan and Hong Kong have faced each other in six T20 internationals, with Afghanistan winning four matches and Hong Kong claiming two victories. While statistics favor Afghanistan, Hong Kong remains capable of causing an upset.
