Obsessed with Brother-in-Law Delhi Woman Feeds Husband 15 Sleeping Pills, Then Kill Him with Electric Shock
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): In a shocking incident from Delhi’s Dwarka district, a woman allegedly conspired with her lover—who is also her husband’s cousin—to kill her husband in cold blood. To avoid suspicion, she initially misled the family and tried to portray the death as sudden and natural.
According to police, the woman drugged her husband, Karan, by mixing sleeping pills in his dinner. Once he was unconscious, she and her lover electrocuted him to ensure his death. After committing the murder, she calmly went to her in-laws’ nearby home and informed them that Karan had suddenly collapsed. The family rushed him to the hospital, but it was too late. The medico-legal report later confirmed that the cause of death was electrocution.
Karan’s younger brother, Kunal Dev, grew suspicious of the circumstances and approached the police. During the investigation, officers discovered incriminating chats between Karan’s wife and her lover. The messages revealed their illicit affair and detailed how they plotted the murder.
The accused duo had even searched on Google about how long sleeping pills take to kill a person. They gave Karan at least 15 pills to render him unconscious before carrying out the electrocution. Shockingly, after Karan passed out, the wife reportedly told her lover she wanted to take a short nap before they finished the act. Police have detained the woman and her lover, who is her husband’s cousin, for questioning. During interrogation, the woman confessed to murdering her husband with the help of her lover.
