New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A major security scare unfolded at Parliament House early Friday morning when a suspicious man managed to jump over the boundary wall and enter the high-security premises.

According to sources, the intruder scaled the wall near Rail Bhavan using a tree and made his way directly to the Garuda Gate of the new Parliament building. The incident occurred around 6:30 AM, sparking panic among security personnel. As soon as the guards noticed the man, a brief commotion ensued before he was apprehended on the spot by security forces. Fortunately, he was intercepted before causing any harm.

This intrusion has once again raised serious questions about Parliament’s security arrangements, as several breaches have been reported in the past too.

Currently, the man is in the custody of Parliament Security and will soon be handed over to the local police. Teams from the Special Cell and Intelligence Bureau (IB) are jointly interrogating him to determine his identity, motive, and whether there was a larger conspiracy behind the breach. Authorities are investigating whether the act was a planned attempt or a lone trespass incident.
