PM Modi: 'We Have Destroyed Those Who Erased the Vermilion of our Sisters; India will not Tolerate Nuclear Blackmail'

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): PM Narendra Modi in his address to the nation on Monday night addressed the country on many issues including the ceasefire between India and Pakistan after the highly successful Operation Sindoor of the Indian Army. The Prime Minister said that killing people after asking their religion in Pahalgam was the most gruesome face of terrorism, it was a conspiracy to spoil the atmosphere of the country. After this, we gave a free hand to the army to take action and India's attack broke the morale of the terrorists. The terrorists had destroyed the vermilion of our sisters, so we destroyed the headquarters of terrorism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that on behalf of every citizen of the country, I salute the Indian Army, intelligence agencies and scientists for the success of Operation Sindoor. PM Modi said that we have only postponed military action against terrorists. Our three armies and BSF are constantly on alert.

Operation Sindoor has drawn a new line in the fight against terrorism. First, if there is a terrorist attack, a befitting reply will be given. We will respond in our own way and on our own terms, and will take strict action at every place from where the roots of terrorism emerge. Second, India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail. India will strike precisely and decisively on the terrorist bases that are flourishing under its cover. Third, we will not see the government that patronizes terrorism and the masters of terrorism separately. During Operation Sindoor, the world has seen the ugly truth of Pakistan when top officials of the Pakistani army flocked to bid farewell to the killed terrorists. This is a big proof of state-sponsored terrorism. We will continue to take decisive steps to protect India and its citizens from any threat. We have defeated Pakistan every time on the battlefield. Operation Sindoor has added a new dimension. We have proved our superiority in new age warfare. During this operation, the authenticity of our Made in India weapons was proved. The world is seeing that the time has come for Made in India defence equipment in 21st century warfare.

Pakistan targeted our Gurudwaras, houses, temples and schools. Pakistan targeted military bases but even in this Pakistan got exposed. The world saw how Pakistan's drones and missiles were scattered like straws in front of India. India's air defense system destroyed them in the sky itself. By then we had caused large-scale damage to the infrastructure of terrorism, killed the terrorists, and turned the terror bases into ruins. When Pakistan appealed, when it said that it will not indulge in any further terrorist activities or military audacity, then India considered it. I am repeating again that we have only postponed the retaliatory action on the terrorist and military bases of Pakistan, in the coming days we will measure every step of Pakistan on the basis of what attitude it adopts in future. India's Air Force, Army and Navy, BSF, paramilitary forces are on alert. After surgical strikes and air strikes, Operation Sindoor is India's policy against terrorism.
