Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): After ‘Operation Sindoor’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Adampur Airbase in Punjab on Tuesday, where he met and interacted with Indian Air Force officers and brave soldiers. PM Modi arrived at the Adampur Airbase on Tuesday morning.

He also shared pictures and details of the visit on his official ‘X’ handle. In his post, he wrote, "This morning, I visited AFS Adampur and met our brave air warriors and soldiers. It was a truly special experience to be among those who embody courage, determination, and fearlessness. India will always remain grateful to our armed forces, who give everything for the nation."

Several pictures of PM Modi interacting with Air Force personnel have surfaced. In the images, he is seen boosting the morale of the soldiers. One notable photo shows a fighter aircraft in the background with a caption that reads, “Why can’t enemy pilots sleep peacefully?”

Earlier, on Monday at 8 PM, PM Modi addressed the nation for the first time after Operation Sindoor, making India’s tough stance on terrorism clear. In his ‘Address to the Nation’, the Prime Minister emphasized that the operation has drawn a new line in the fight against terrorism. He stated that a new benchmark and a "new normal" have been set.

PM Modi said the first principle is that if India is attacked by terrorists, there will be a strong and fitting response—on our terms and in our way. We will take tough actions at the very roots of terrorism, wherever they may be.

The second principle is that India will not tolerate any nuclear blackmail. If terrorist bases thrive under the cover of nuclear threats, India will strike them precisely and decisively.

The Prime Minister said the third principle is that India will not differentiate between terror-sponsoring governments and the terror masterminds themselves. During Operation Sindoor, the world saw Pakistan’s ugly reality once again—when top Pakistani military officials attended the funerals of the slain terrorists. This is clear evidence of state-sponsored terrorism. India will continue taking decisive steps to protect itself and its citizens from any threats.

He also said that on the battlefield, India has always defeated Pakistan. This time, Operation Sindoor has added a new dimension. India showcased its strength across deserts and mountains, and also proved its superiority in new-age warfare. During the operation, the effectiveness of 'Made in India' weapons was demonstrated. The world is now witnessing that in 21st-century warfare, the time has come for Indian-made defense equipment.
