Shahjahanpur(The Uttam Hindu): A shocking case of family suicide has emerged from Shahjahanpur’s posh Durga Enclave, where a 35-year-old millionaire businessman, his wife, and their 4-year-old son were found dead inside their luxurious bungalow.

The deceased have been identified as Sachin Grover (35), a prominent handloom businessman, his wife Shivangi (30), and their son Fateh (4). The gruesome discovery was made on Wednesday morning after relatives living on the ground floor noticed unusual silence in the house.

When they peeped through the window, they were horrified to see the bodies of Sachin and Shivangi hanging. The door was broken, revealing a heart-wrenching scene – Sachin’s body hanging in the drawing room, Shivangi hanging in the bedroom, and their son’s lifeless body lying in another room. The three were immediately rushed to the hospital but declared dead on arrival.

36-Page Suicide Note Sent on WhatsApp

Just before the tragedy, Shivangi reportedly sent her mother a 36-page long suicide note via WhatsApp. In the note, she expressed deep sorrow for troubling her family and explained the crushing financial burden they were under. The note revealed heavy debts on the family, including loans for property, cars, and business expenses.

Despite owning two showrooms and a lavish bungalow, the family was allegedly reeling under financial pressure, which ultimately pushed them to take the extreme step.

A Happy Evening Before the Tragedy

Family members claimed that just a day earlier, the Grovers appeared completely normal. They were seen playing joyfully with their son and showed no signs of distress. “They looked happy, there was no sign of tension. We are shocked how this happened overnight,” said a relative.

Sachin had married Shivangi eight years ago in a love marriage, and the couple was considered among the well-off families of Shahjahanpur. However, behind the luxury walls, financial troubles had been silently mounting.

Police Investigation Underway

Police have recovered the suicide note and launched an investigation. The three bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Authorities suspect that financial liabilities and debt pressure are the main reasons behind the tragic incident. The shocking death of the Grover family has left Shahjahanpur in deep shock, exposing once again how mounting debts can shatter even the most affluent lives.
