New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Krishna Paksha Saptami Tithi of the month of Ashwin falls on Saturday this year, and astrologers believe this day is highly auspicious. Two rare and powerful yogas — Tripushkar Yoga and Ravi Yoga — are coinciding on the same day, making it especially significant for those who wish to begin new ventures, perform rituals, or seek divine blessings.

According to the Drik Panchang, the Abhijit Muhurat on this day will last from 11:52 AM to 12:42 PM, while Rahukaal will occur between 9:11 AM and 10:44 AM. During this period, the Sun will remain in Leo, and the Moon will stay in Taurus.

What is Ravi Yoga?

Ravi Yoga is considered extremely auspicious in Vedic astrology. It is formed when the Moon’s nakshatra is positioned at the 4th, 6th, 9th, 10th, or 13th place from the Sun’s nakshatra. Any task undertaken during this yoga is believed to bring success and positive results. That’s why this Saturday is considered favorable for investments, travel, education, business deals, and career-related beginnings.

The Power of Tripushkar Yoga

Tripushkar Yoga is another rare and highly beneficial combination. It occurs when Dwitiya, Saptami, or Dwadashi Tithi falls on a Sunday, Tuesday, or Saturday. This time, Saptami coincides with Saturday, forming Tripushkar Yoga. It is believed that actions performed in this period yield results threefold.

Special Importance of Shani Dev Worship

Since the day falls on Saturday, worship of Lord Shani (Saturn) carries added importance. In astrology, Shani Dev is known as the karmic judge who rewards or punishes individuals according to their deeds. People going through Shani’s Sade Sati or Dhaiya often face struggles, financial hardships, or family conflicts. Devotees believe that fasting and offering prayers to Shani Dev on Saturdays can help reduce such difficulties.

Worship rituals include waking up during Brahma Muhurat, taking a holy bath, and offering black sesame seeds, black gram, jaggery, mustard oil, and black cloth to Lord Shani. Lighting a mustard oil lamp beneath a Peepal tree, chanting the Shani Stotra, Hanuman Chalisa, and Sundarkand are also considered highly beneficial.

Beliefs and Benefits

According to traditions, observing a fast on seven consecutive Saturdays can help devotees overcome the malefic effects of Saturn and achieve success in life. Devotees also believe that performing shadow donation (Chhaya Daan with mustard oil) removes negativity and attracts Lord Shani’s blessings.

With both Ravi Yoga and Tripushkar Yoga aligning on the same day, spiritual leaders and astrologers suggest that this Saturday could bring exceptionally favorable outcomes for worshippers and seekers alike.
