Class 10 Girl Suddenly Jumps from 4th Floor of School, LIVE Death Captured on CCTV - Watch Video

Ahmedabad(The Uttam Hindu): A heartbreaking incident has emerged from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A Class 10 student ended her life by jumping from the fourth floor of a reputed school in Navrangpura. The severely injured girl was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

The shocking event took place on Thursday during lunch break at Som Lalit School in Navrangpura. CCTV footage from the school captured the entire incident, showing the girl walking in the lobby around 12:30 PM, then suddenly moving towards the railing and jumping. Her friends were seen desperately trying to stop her but failed. As soon as she jumped, chaos and panic spread throughout the school.

The girl suffered severe head injuries and multiple fractures in her limbs. She was immediately taken to Nidhi Hospital’s ICU and later shifted to another hospital in Thaltej, where she passed away.

According to the police, the reason behind the suicide is still unclear. Navrangpura police have registered a medico-legal case and started recording statements of teachers, staff, and students. The school management said the girl had been studying there for the past five years and had only recently returned after a month-long leave. Some classmates claimed that before the incident, she suddenly screamed in class, after which the teacher calmed her down. The incident has left the girl’s family in deep shock and created a sense of grief and disbelief in the locality.
