Dangerous Reel Stunt Turns Tragic: 14-Year-Old Hit by Train, Leg Severed
Sasaram (The Uttam Hindu): The deadly hobby of getting a few likes and comments on social media proved fatal for another teenager. In Bihar's Sasaram, a 14-year-old boy who was doing stunts on the gate of a moving train to make a reel lost his balance and got hit by the train. In this tragic accident, one of his legs was cut off and completely separated from the body.
This horrific incident happened near Sasaram railway station. 14 year old Shahzada, a resident of Tilauthu, had come to Sasaram from his village to make reels. Here he stood on the footrest of the gate of a passenger train going from Sasaram to Ara and started doing dangerous stunts. While jumping in the moving train, his foot slipped and he fell on the track. Before anyone could understand anything, the train passed by trampling one of his legs.
There was chaos at the station after the accident. The RPF jawans present on the spot immediately picked up the injured teenager and took him to Sadar Hospital in Sasaram. The scene was so horrific that the jawans had to carry the teenager's severed leg in a sack to the hospital. Seeing the critical condition of the teenager, he has been referred to Varanasi for better treatment after first aid.
This incident is a warning to all those youngsters who do not hesitate to risk their lives to make a reel. It is not right to put life at risk for a few moments of thrill under any circumstances.
