Gurugram (The Uttam Hindu) – A remarkable incident of alertness and humanity unfolded in Gurugram, where a traffic police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) saved the life of an unconscious car driver by performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) just in time.

The incident occurred around 12 PM on Tuesday, near Medanta Hospital, where ASI Krishan Kumar, a zonal officer, was on duty. While monitoring traffic, he noticed a car suddenly stop on the road. What caught his attention was that the driver inside was unresponsive and not making any movements.

Acting without delay, ASI Krishan Kumar rushed to the vehicle. With the help of fellow police personnel and nearby bystanders, he managed to open the car door and pull the driver out, who was found to be unconscious.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, ASI Kumar immediately used his police training and began administering CPR on the driver. He continuously performed chest compressions, and within moments, the driver started showing signs of life and eventually regained consciousness.

The man later signaled to the officer to stop and confirmed he was feeling better. The ASI’s quick response and courage not only saved a life but also showcased an inspiring example of public service and humanity.
