Life taken for a mere hat: Boy stabbed to death, shocking details emerge

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking and sensational case has emerged from the Rohini area of northwest Delhi. A young boy was brutally stabbed to death over a mere dispute regarding a hat. The accused wove such a web of fear that the victim kept the truth hidden from his family until his death. However, after the victim's death in the hospital, the post-mortem report revealed the entire horrific conspiracy. Police have arrested a minor in this case, while the main accused remains at large with his entire family.

The bloody game started with the snatching of a hat on the roof.

This horrific incident occurred on February 11th. According to reports, the victim and the accused live in the same building in the Vijay Vihar area. On the day of the incident, the three boys were sitting on the terrace. One of the boys jokingly snatched the victim's hat and flatly refused to return it. This small matter quickly escalated into a heated argument, leading to a physical altercation. The dispute escalated to the point where the main accused asked his companion to hold the victim tightly and then fatally stabbed him with a knife.

A fabricated story about falling on an iron rod

After committing the crime, the accused severely threatened the bleeding victim. They warned the terrified boy not to tell his family or anyone else about the deadly attack. They then bandaged the victim and told him to tell everyone that he had fallen on an iron rod on the roof, causing his injuries. They also falsely assured him of medical treatment. The victim, already living in fear, initially told this lie to his family.

The post-mortem report revealed the real secret of death

On February 11th, the injured boy was admitted to the BSA Hospital in critical condition. Even there, out of fear, he told doctors the same story about falling on an iron rod. The victim died during treatment on February 13th. A post-mortem examination on February 14th revealed the truth. The report clearly stated that the wound was caused by a sharp weapon, not a fall on an iron rod.

The main accused along with his family fled from the spot.

Following the post-mortem report confirming murder, a murder case was registered at the Vijay Vihar police station under relevant sections. Acting swiftly, the police arrested one of the accused (a minor) during the investigation. Crime and forensic teams closely inspected the scene and collected crucial evidence. The main accused, along with his family, has been absconding since the incident, and several police teams are actively searching for him.
