Son-in-law in love with mother-in-law, tragedy strikes after being caught red-handed

Kasganj (The Uttam Hindu) – A shameful incident has come to light in the Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh, where a young man, blinded by love for his mother-in-law, murdered his own wife. This incident occurred in Nagla Parsi village, under the Sidhpura police station area, and has caused a sensation in the entire area.

Wife's body found in the veranda, accused husband absconding

The body of the deceased Shivani (24) was found in the veranda of her in-laws' house. When the family members reached the spot on receiving information, the accused husband Pramod was absconding from the house. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem and have started a thorough investigation into the murder. Narayan Singh, the father of the deceased, told that in the year 2018, Shivani was married to Pramod, who works in a private job in Delhi. A few months after the marriage, Pramod started an illicit relationship with his mother-in-law Premvati. Initially, no one suspected anything, but later, Pramod's behavior and increasing discord at home made the family suspicious. Pramod and Premvati were seen in objectionable positions many times, which increased the tension in the house.

According to Narayan Singh, when he protested

against this illicit relationship, his son-in-law not only beat his daughter but also him. Shivani had been suffering mental and physical abuse for a long time. She has two young children: a two-and-a-half-year-old son and a six-month-old daughter. Now, both children have lost their mother forever.

Police launched a search.

According to police sources, the accused husband, Pramod, and his mother-in-law, Premvati, are absconding after the incident. The Sidhapura police station has launched a search for them and is investigating the case from various angles. Preliminary investigations have uncovered incriminating photographs and call records, which confirm the alleged relationship.
