Teen Girl Gives Birth at 14, Startling Secret Leaves Everyone Stunned

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu)- A shameful incident has come to light in Jharkhand. Where a 14-year-old school girl has given birth to a newborn baby in Sadar Hospital, Ranchi. The unmarried minor student from Basia of Gumla district was raped by a young man from her village.

Due to public shame and threats given by the accused, the minor victim and her family could not raise their voice against the crime nor could they reach the police. Due to which the 14-year-old minor girl became pregnant. To avoid social disgrace, the victim's family came to Ranchi from Gumla district. The matter came to light when the minor girl gave birth to a newborn baby in Sadar Hospital, Ranchi. After this, the Sadar Hospital management informed the police of Lower Bazar Police Station of Ranchi about the entire matter. On the basis of the statement of the minor girl, a zero FIR was registered in Lower Bazar Police Station of Ranchi. Then the police of Basia Police Station of Gumla district was informed about the entire matter. A team formed by SP Hasish Bin Jama of Gumla district has arrested a youth named Shiva Ahir, accused of raping the minor girl. The victim told the police - the accused used to molest her while going to and coming from school. He then raped her one day. Later, she was threatened with dire consequences if she mentioned the incident, due to which she remained silent out of fear. The police have registered a case against the accused under serious sections.
