Tragic incident: 3½-year-old boy drowns in club swimming pool while swimming with mother
Vasai (The Uttam Hindu) – A tragic accident shook the entire area of Yashwantnagar in Vasai West, Maharashtra. Three-and-a-half-year-old Dhruv Bisht drowned in the swimming pool at the Amey Club.
According to reports, Dhruv had come to the swimming pool with his mother. While swimming, water suddenly entered his nose and mouth, causing him to panic and drown. A guard at the pool immediately pulled him out, but by then the child's condition had deteriorated. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the area, and further investigations are underway by the club management and police. Preliminary investigations are being conducted to determine whether adequate security measures and lifeguards were present in the pool area. The child's untimely death has caused outrage and grief among local residents. This incident has once again highlighted the importance of proper safety measures and constant supervision of young children at places like swimming pools.
