Woman gives birth to quadruplets, now mother of seven children

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking case has come to light from Satara district of Maharashtra. 27-year-old Kajal Vikas Khakurdia, a resident of Koregaon taluka, gave birth to four children at once. These include three daughters and a son.

When Kajal experienced labour pains, she was taken to Krantisingh Nana Patil Government District Hospital, where a team of doctors successfully performed a C-section operation on her. After the delivery, Kajal and her four children are said to be healthy, although they have been kept in the ICU as the babies' weight is less than normal (between 1200 and 1600 grams). Kajal has delivered twice before. The first time she gave birth to twins and the second time to a daughter. In this way, Kajal has become the mother of seven children in three deliveries so far.

Kajal's husband Vikas, who is originally from Gujarat and works as a mason in Pune, is very excited about this good news in the family. The birth of four children at once has led to a festive atmosphere among the family and relatives. The team of doctors who conducted the delivery said that they were a little worried before the operation, but they heaved a sigh of relief after the successful delivery.
