"Strike Them in Their Own Streets" Al Qaeda Commander Threatens Trump Vance and Musk in Chilling New Video

Update: 2025-06-11 06:22 GMT

New York (The Uttam Hindu) A new wave of terror concerns has emerged in the United States after Al Qaeda issued death threats against three prominent American figures — former President Donald Trump, current Vice President JD Vance, and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.

The threat was made by Saad bin Atif al-Awlaki, a senior Al Qaeda commander, through a video released publicly. In the footage, Atif openly called on American Muslims and Al Qaeda operatives to "kill them wherever you see them," referring to Trump, Vance, and Musk.

Atif claimed that the growing Muslim population in the US makes it feasible to carry out attacks on these high-profile individuals. He urged Muslims to take action in the name of jihad.

Saad bin Atif al-Awlaki, also known as Saad Mohammad Atif, was appointed as the commander of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) on March 10, 2024, following the sudden death of Khalid al-Batrasi. Atif is currently on the radar of US intelligence agencies, with a $6 million bounty placed on his head.

In the same video, Atif also referenced the conflict in Palestine, calling for jihad against those committing “injustices” against Palestinians. He described attacks on US leaders as “justified” under this context, sending a broader warning to the United States and its allies.

US intelligence and security agencies, including the FBI, CIA, and Department of Homeland Security, have taken the threat very seriously. All three targets — Trump, Vance, and Musk — have reportedly had their security significantly increased.

Security experts have expressed concern, noting that Al Qaeda typically issues such threats only when a plan is close to execution. The country remains on high alert as officials assess the credibility and source of the video.
