“America cannot be trusted” – Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei calls for Muslim unity
Tehran (Uttam Hindu News): Iran 's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a major statement against America and Israel. He has appealed to Muslim countries around the world to stand united. This statement has come at a time when Israel has recently carried out major air strikes on Qatar's capital Doha and Yemen's capital Sanaa.
'America is not trustworthy…Muslim countries should unite', big statement by Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei: "Regional governments must understand that America is not trustworthy and it only sees Muslim nations as a tool to maintain the Zionist regime and serve its imperialist interests," Khamenei wrote on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
He also said that America uses the wealth and military power of Muslim countries for its own selfish interests. According to Khamenei, "The solution to the problems of the region is possible only when Muslim nations unite and stand firmly against imperialist forces." Earlier, America and Israel had jointly attacked three nuclear bases in Tehran. America used B-2 stealth bombers in this attack, which are capable of destroying bases by going to a depth of up to 200 feet.
Israel carried out a major airstrike in Qatar's capital Doha two days ago. Israel claimed that it targeted top Hamas leaders. It was reported that several Hamas leaders were meeting there. Five Hamas members were killed in the attack, although the main leaders are said to be safe. Khamenei's statement is expected to further increase tensions in the region. Now it remains to be seen what the reaction of Muslim countries is and whether a common front can really be formed or not.
