New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): America's private space company Blue Origin has created history by successfully launching its suborbital rocket New Shepard under the NS-33 mission. In fact, this mission of the company was the 13th crewed flight so far, in which 6 civilians were taken to the threshold of space.

The passengers on the NS-33 mission included scientists, businessmen and space enthusiasts. In fact, Blue Origin gives place to a diverse group in every mission, which is writing a new chapter for space tourism. This flight took off from a private launch site in Texas and in a journey of about 11 minutes, took the passengers to an altitude of 100 kilometers and landed them safely back on the ground. During this flight, the rocket crossed the Karman line, which is considered the official boundary of space.

During this flight, the passengers experienced weightlessness for a few moments, where they saw themselves floating in the air. Along with this, they also saw the amazing view of the roundness of the Earth and the black sky from space. On return, the capsule landed safely in the Texas desert with the help of a parachute. Actually, New Shepard is a fully automatic and reusable rocket, which is designed to safely bring humans and scientific experiments to space and back. At the same time, its fast turnaround and ability to fly repeatedly make it extremely suitable for future commercial space travel.

Let us tell you that Blue Origin was started in July 2021, at that time the company's founder Jeff Bezos himself boarded the first mission. Since then, the company has taken more than 60 people to space. It is now in direct competition with companies like Virgin Galactic and SpaceX.
