US President Donald Trump’s son attends royal wedding, plans visit to Taj Mahal

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) – Donald Trump Jr., son of US President Donald Trump, arrived in India for the first time on Thursday. The junior Trump will travel to Udaipur with 126 people from 40 countries. He will also visit the Taj Mahal in Agra.


Donald Trump Jr. arrived at Kheria Airport on a special aircraft. The royal wedding, which the US President's son has flown to India to attend, will be held in Udaipur on November 21st and 22nd. This visit by Trump Jr. is generating considerable buzz. The main wedding ceremony will be held at the historic Jag Mandir Palace, located in the middle of Lake Pichola. All wedding-related celebrations will be held at Manek Chowk within the City Palace complex. According to sources, Trump Jr. will be staying at The Leela Palace Udaipur, one of the city's most luxurious hotels.


The 126 attendees from 40 countries will include former presidents, prime ministers, and judges from several countries. Trump Jr. is also a businessman. He is in India to attend the high-profile destination wedding of an Indian-American couple in Udaipur, Rajasthan. A team from a US security agency has already arrived in Udaipur and is reviewing security arrangements ahead of his arrival.


The local administration has made elaborate preparations. In addition to Donald Trump Jr., several Indian leaders and celebrities are expected to attend the wedding. The Rajasthan government has made elaborate security arrangements throughout Udaipur. Officials said the city will be on high alert during the two-day celebrations, and special arrangements have been made along the route from the airport to Lake Pichola.


Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes, is renowned for its magnificent heritage hotels, palaces, and forts, making it one of India's most beautiful wedding destinations. Nestled in the Aravalli Hills, this regal city has long been a favorite destination for grand celebrations among wealthy families. Previously, weddings or pre-wedding functions have been held here for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Raveena Tandon, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Hardik Pandya, and billionaire Mukesh Ambani's daughter, Isha Ambani.


Before Trump Jr., in 2020, US President Trump had visited the Taj Mahal with his wife Melania Trump.
