What did the journalist ask that angered Trump? He shouted “Don’t shout!” and walked out mid-conference
Kuala Lumpur (The Uttam Hindu): US President Donald Trump once again lashed out at reporters during the ongoing 47th ASEAN Summit in Malaysia. He was meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on the sidelines of the summit in Kuala Lumpur. When he came to answer reporters' questions at the end of the meeting, he didn't seem in the mood for many questions and dodged many.
According to reports, when a journalist tried to ask him a question, Trump interrupted him, saying, "Who's yelling?" Trump added, "Don't yell." He soon changed the subject, calling Brazil a beautiful country and praising President Lula. During the press conference, he refused to take a question from a particular journalist, saying, "You again, please."
Trump tried his best to dodge the questions and finally ended the press conference abruptly, saying, "Today's questions haven't been very good, I have to say. They're very boring. See you later, thanks."
Interestingly, Brazilian President Lula da Silva had previously commented on journalists asking questions. He said, "We don't have much time. We don't want to waste time talking to journalists. We have a lot to discuss. If you have patience, you will know the outcome of the meeting later."
Trump's stance has renewed questions about his behavior. Some even called him a "misogynist" for not answering a female journalist's questions. One Instagram user wrote, "I feel so bad for the journalists who have to endure his lame answers and insults."
