Europe's new defense: Invisible 'Drone Wall' to neutralize aerial threats

Copenhagen (The Uttam Hindu): The battle of cannons, tanks, and guns is now obsolete. The devastation caused by Russia's "killer drones" in Ukraine has created fear throughout the world, especially in Europe. Alarmed by the increasing intrusion of Russian drones, the European Union (EU) has called an emergency meeting in Denmark today, where a revolutionary proposal to build an invisible "Drone Wall" to secure the skies across Europe may be approved.

This alarm among European countries is not without reason. Just last month, Russian spy drones were spotted in the skies over NATO members Poland, Estonia, and Romania, causing widespread panic across Europe. Following this incident, ten countries bordering Russia (Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Poland, etc.) have collectively decided to build a "drone wall" for their own security, which is now being discussed for implementation across the entire European Union.

What is this 'invisible' drone wall? How will it work?

It won't be a brick or concrete wall, but rather a sophisticated, invisible security shield that will destroy enemy drones before they enter Europe. To build this wall, a dense network of radars, jammers, and sensors will be installed along the border. This system will immediately issue an alert as soon as an unidentified drone attempts to enter the European border. All European member states will share real-time data with each other, allowing for the drone's location to be detected, intercepted, and an appropriate response to be given.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte supported the proposal, saying, "We cannot waste millions of dollars worth of missiles to shoot down a few thousand dollar drone. Drones cannot be countered with missiles. Therefore, a 'drone wall' is a cheap and highly effective alternative."

However, today's meeting is expected to decide on questions such as what this invisible wall will actually look like, how much it will cost, and when it will be completed. The wall will also draw on the experiences of Ukraine, which has been countering Russian drones for several years.
