Evacuation Begins: First 100 to Depart from Armenia Border Today
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Indian government has started the work of rescuing Indian citizens trapped in Iran. According to government sources, the first batch of some Indians will reach Armenia tonight. From where everyone will be brought back to India. Sources said that about 100 Indians are included in the first batch.
Operation to evacuate Indians from Iran begins, first batch of 100 people will leave from Armenia border : In view of the increasing tension between Iran and Israel and instability in the region, the Government of India has taken immediate steps to ensure the safety and assistance of its citizens. The Ministry of External Affairs has set up a 24-hour control room in New Delhi to provide necessary assistance to Indian citizens present in Iran. This control room has been set up to monitor the latest developments taking place in Iran and Israel and to provide immediate help to the affected Indian citizens.
