India Warns Pakistan: Stay Within Limits or Face Consequences
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): India has strongly reacted to the provocative statements being made by Pakistani leaders against India for the last few days. India has categorically stated that if Pakistan dares to do anything, it will have to face 'painful consequences'. The Foreign Ministry has termed these actions of Pakistan as an old and well-known strategy to divert attention from its internal failures.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "We have seen reports of reckless, war-mongering and hateful remarks being made by the Pakistani leadership against India. It has been a long-standing practice of the Pakistani rulers to resort to anti-India rhetoric to cover up their own failures."
The spokesperson advised Pakistan to exercise restraint and said in a stern tone, Pakistan should restrain its rhetoric, as any misadventure will have serious consequences, as has been seen in recent times. This statement of India has come after continuous war-mongering statements coming from Pakistan.
