New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) – Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir has once again made a controversial statement regarding India. During the passing-out parade in Abbottabad, Munir said that “Pakistan will respond strongly to even the smallest provocation from India.” He also dismissed the possibility of war in a “nuclearized environment.”

Speaking at a graduation ceremony at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul in Abbottabad, General Asim Munir said that the Pakistan Army "will not be cowed under any circumstances" and "will not hesitate to respond to even the slightest provocation." He issued a "warning" to India's military leadership, saying, "There is no place for war in a nuclearized environment. India must understand this reality."

Misleading Claims on Indo-Pak Conflict: Munir, citing recent tensions on the India-Pakistan border, claimed that the Pakistani military had “successfully neutralized all threats” and demonstrated “professionalism and foresight” against a “numerically superior enemy.” He accused India of “using terrorism as a strategic weapon to destabilize Pakistan.” Munir said that “a handful of terrorists cannot harm Pakistan,” and added that “all proxy groups using Afghan soil will be crushed.”

Pakistan Army Chief once again raised the Kashmir issue, saying that "India should resolve disputes in accordance with international laws and agreements." He reiterated Pakistan's "continued diplomatic and moral support" to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Describing his country as a "peace-loving nation," Munir said that Pakistan has strong relations with the US, China and other major countries. Cadets from Malaysia, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Yemen, Mali, Maldives and Nigeria also graduated at the event.
