Indian Diplomacy Shines Abroad, Iran Opens Airspace Only for India; 1000 Students Will Return
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Amid the fierce war going on between Iran and Israel, Iran has once again opened its airspace only for Indian students which was usually closed. After the opening of this airspace, 1000 Indian students are expected to return from Iran to the country's capital Delhi in the next two days.
According to the report, due to the war with Israel, Iran has kept many airspaces closed for international flights. Missile and drone attacks are taking place between Israeli and Iranian forces. Despite this, Iran has decided to send Indian students back safely. Indians will be brought back through three planes. The first plane will leave tonight, while two planes can reach by Saturday afternoon. If needed, more flights can be added. Earlier, under Operation Sindhu, at least 110 students were evacuated from Iran on Wednesday, most of whom were from Jammu and Kashmir.
This visit was jointly monitored by the Indian missions in Iran and Armenia. The students were brought to Delhi from Armenia. After which the Ministry of External Affairs has tweeted that 110 Indian students evacuated from Iran under Operation Sindhu have reached New Delhi safely by a special flight from Yerevan, Armenia. The government is committed to the safety of Indian citizens abroad.
