“Yemen Will Face Tehran’s Fate!” – Israeli Defense Minister Issues Chilling Warning to Houthis
Tel Aviv(The Uttam Hindu): After 12 days of intense conflict with Iran, Israel has opened a new front in Yemen, targeting the Houthi rebels. In a fierce military escalation, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out multiple airstrikes on Houthi strongholds in Hodeidah, a key port city on Yemen’s Red Sea coast.
According to the Israeli military, the strikes hit fuel tanks, ships, and warehouses allegedly used by the Houthis to launch attacks in the Red Sea. Israel claims that Hodeidah has become the Houthis’ primary operational hub, where a massive stockpile of Iranian-supplied weapons has been stored.
In an official statement, the IDF said, “We had precise intelligence on the terrorist locations. Our fighter jets and drones successfully destroyed the facilities and weapons used by the Houthis to threaten Israeli security.”
Following the strikes, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a direct and chilling warning to the Houthis and Yemen’s leadership. “Launching missiles at Israel will have dire consequences. If Yemen fails to restrain the Houthis, we will make it face the same fate as Tehran,” Katz declared. He further emphasized that Israel will go to any lengths to defend itself and will continue its military operations until the threat is neutralized.
This warning carries weight, as Israel recently pounded Tehran with heavy missile and bomb strikes during its war with Iran. Now, with operations already active in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and Iran, Israel’s decision to expand its military campaign into Yemen has escalated tensions across the Middle East. Regional observers fear that the strikes on Yemen could further destabilize the Red Sea region and trigger a wider multi-front conflict, drawing in Iran-backed militias across the region.
