Lashkar-e-Taiba threatens with 'Ghazwa-e-Hind', targets PM Modi: Pakistani army readiness stated
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : The activities of terrorist organizations in Pakistan have once again come to light. In a video that went viral on social media, a senior terrorist from the Pakistan-backed terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba made inflammatory and offensive statements against India. The video uses language that threatens India and incites violence.
Anti-India speech from an open platform
In a video shared on the social media platform X by the handle "Osin TV," Lashkar-e-Taiba's Bahawalpur chief, Saifullah Saif, can be seen addressing a public gathering. In the speech, delivered in the presence of hundreds of suspected terrorists, he spewed venom against India and raised slogans like "Ghazwa-e-Hind." He also made derogatory remarks against Indian leaders and openly threatened violence. In the inflammatory speech, Saifullah Saif claimed that the time for jihad against India had come and allegedly asked his supporters to prepare for major attacks. He also claimed to change the regional situation and secure the support of neighboring countries, although these statements have not been independently verified.
Indian security agencies are on high alert after the video surfaced. Security experts say that such statements made from an open platform point to the alleged impunity enjoyed by terrorists in Pakistan. This development once again calls into question Pakistan's claims of taking action against terrorism.
Such statements have surfaced before
It is worth noting that in December 2025, another senior Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist delivered an inflammatory speech against India from a public platform. The continued emergence of such statements is considered a matter of serious concern for regional security.
