According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, this incident took place on Santa Monica Boulevard. According to a report in the New York Times, the vehicle was moving at a very high speed and it suddenly ran over the crowd of people on the road. There was chaos at the spot after the incident. The fire department said that as soon as the information was received, many ambulances and emergency rescue teams reached the spot and the injured were immediately given first aid and admitted to nearby hospitals.
