Kabul (The Uttam Hindu): Strong earthquake tremors were felt in northern Afghanistan at around 3 am today, causing several buildings to collapse. 7 people died in this disaster, while more than 150 people are reported to be injured. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 6.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, about 28 kilometers below the ground. More than 5 lakh 23 thousand people live in this area, who had to bear the direct impact of the earthquake tremors.
