Pak army warns of devastating consequences in any war with India
New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): Pakistan has responded to recent warnings from Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and top officials of the Indian Armed Forces. Strong statements from both sides have heightened tensions in the region. Addressing soldiers in Bhuj on Vijayadashami (October 2), Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that if Pakistan dares to do anything, it will receive a befitting response that could change both history and geography. He specifically warned against any military action in the Sayer Creek area.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army (ISPR) stated that if conflict breaks out, its destructive nature will be detrimental to both countries, and Pakistan will not back down. The ISPR also stated that it has now established a strategic capability for swift, decisive, and destructive response as a "new normal."
Arguments and implications from both sides:
India argues that state-sponsored terrorism poses a serious threat to India's security and must be contained. Pakistan, on the other hand, has dismissed the allegations as baseless, stating that it reserves the right to respond to such rhetoric and that further escalation of the standoff could result in significant losses for both sides.
