Arizona (The Uttam Hindu): Two people were killed in a tragic plane crash at a small airport in the US state of Arizona. The accident occurred on Wednesday when a small plane lost control during landing and skidded off the runway.

According to local authorities, the accident occurred at a small airport near the city of Marana. During landing, the plane suddenly veered off the runway and caught fire within moments. Both people on board died at the scene.

Identification yet to be established, no other casualties reported

Officials said only two people were on board, and their identities have not yet been established. There are no reports of any other injuries or involvement of other aircraft. This is being considered an isolated accident.

Fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident and brought the fire under control. However, by then the plane was completely engulfed in flames. For safety reasons, the entire area has been cordoned off and an investigation has been launched.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the accident. The agency is trying to determine why the plane skidded off the runway and what caused the fire.

It's worth noting that Marana is located about 32 kilometers northwest of Tucson, and its airport is primarily known for handling small aircraft. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined, but investigators are investigating every aspect thoroughly.
