Prominent Punjabi businessman gunned down in Canada on his way to work
Doraha (Ludhiana) (The Uttam Hindu): Darshan Singh Mana, a prominent businessman from Rajgarh village near Doraha, who had a business in Canada, was shot and killed in Abbotsford, Canada. According to reports, Mana had left home for work when he was suddenly attacked and died on the spot from gunshot wounds. Mana had gone to Canada for business in 1992 and expanded his business extensively. Besides Abbotsford, he also had operations in several locations in the United States. He also ran a textile industry in Kandla, Gujarat. Canadian police have launched a manhunt for the culprits in connection with this murder.
