Tel Aviv (Uttam Hindu News) – In an address to the Israeli Parliament, US President Donald Trump described Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a tough Prime Minister. He added in a light-hearted tone that he is not easy to deal with.

Meanwhile, while US President Donald Trump was addressing the Israeli Parliament, two MPs, Eman Odeh and Ofer Kassif, created a ruckus.

The MPs showed the sign of genocide in front of Trump and started moving towards him. These MPs were shown the way out. On this, Trump said that this is an effective method and continued his speech. In the Parliament, Aymen Odeh, the head of the Hadash-Ta'al party, showed a placard during Trump's speech. It read, 'Recognize Palestine.' Another MP of the same party, Ofer Kassif, also tried to show a placard, but both the MPs were forcibly thrown out of the Parliament by the security forces.

Trump also thanked Arab and Muslim countries that pressured Hamas to release the hostages. He said it was a huge victory for Israel that so many countries were working together for peace. Trump said this time would be remembered as the time when everything began to change. This will be a golden age for Israel and the Middle East.

Trump described the US-brokered ceasefire as the end of an "era of terror." Trump declared that the ceasefire agreement marked the end of Israel's war on Gaza as well as an "era of terror and death." Addressing the Knesset, the US President said: "This is not just the end of a war. It is the end of an era of terror and death and the beginning of an era of faith, hope, and God." He said, "This is the beginning of a great harmony and lasting harmony for Israel and all the countries that will soon become a truly glorious region. I firmly believe in this. This is the historic dawning of a new Middle East."

Trump described the October 7, 2023 massacre as tragic and said, "We must now come together and resolve not to let it happen again. The crisis for both Israelis and Palestinians is over. The future will be bright, and peace will prevail throughout the Middle East." He thanked the IDF for its courage and strength in performing an outstanding job.
