Two Delta Airlines planes collide at LaGuardia Airport, one injured, wing damaged
New Delhi/New York (The Uttam Hindu): Two Delta Airlines jets collided on a taxiway at New York's LaGuardia Airport on Wednesday night. The collision occurred at a low speed, but a flight attendant was injured and taken to the hospital. No passengers were injured.
According to Delta Air Lines, the wing of a plane bound for Roanoke, Virginia, collided with the fuselage of another plane from Charlotte, North Carolina. Both planes were operated by Endeavor Air under Delta Connection.
Two Delta Airlines planes collided at LaGuardia Airport in the US, injuring one; the plane's wing broke : The New York and New Jersey Port Authority said the incident is under investigation and there has been no impact on other airport operations. "We are reviewing the incident in collaboration with all relevant authorities. The safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We apologize for the inconvenience," Delta said in a statement.
