Washington (The Uttam Hindu): The conflict between Israel, the United States and Iran continues to intensify, with both the US and Israel reportedly carrying out repeated strikes against Iran. In these attacks, Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was reported to have died a few days ago. Amid the ongoing tensions, the United States has now announced a reward against Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and several other senior Iranian officials.

The United States has declared a reward of up to 10 million dollars (about ₹92.6 crore) for information leading to Mojtaba Khamenei and several senior officials associated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The offer was made public on Friday through the US State Department’s “Rewards for Justice” programme, which is operated by the Diplomatic Security Service.
