Aden (The Uttam Hindu): Yemen's Houthi group has announced that it will continue the military campaign against Israel. This statement of the Houthi group came hours after US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel. According to the report, Mohammad al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Houthi political bureau, said this in a statement on the social media platform X.

"The US and Israel's acceptance of a ceasefire with Iran proves that military force is the only language they understand," al-Bukhaiti wrote. The Houthi official stressed that the group's military operations against Israel would continue until the attack on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.

On June 13, Israel carried out massive airstrikes on various areas of Iran. These attacks were carried out on nuclear and military bases, in which senior commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians were killed. In response, Iran carried out several missile and drone attacks on Israel, causing many casualties and heavy damage.

On Saturday, the US Air Force bombed Iran's three nuclear sites, Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. In response, Iran attacked the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with missiles on Monday. After Iran's attack, US President Donald Trump has announced that a ceasefire between the two sides will begin on Tuesday morning (9:30 local time). Both Iran and Israel later confirmed the start of the ceasefire.

Israel accepted the ceasefire proposal and said that it has accepted America's proposed bilateral ceasefire with Iran, amid US President Donald Trump's declaration that a 'ceasefire is in effect' and appeal not to break it.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Israel said it "agreed to the US proposal for a bilateral ceasefire with Iran and will respond forcefully if it is violated." "The Prime Minister held a meeting with the Cabinet, Defence Minister, Army Chief and Mossad Chief. Israel has achieved all the objectives of 'Operation Rising Lion'," Israel's Prime Minister's Office said.
