Bhopal (Uttam Hindu): High voltage drama was witnessed once again in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. On Monday morning, a drunk young man suddenly climbed a tower of about 80 feet height near Bharat Talkies crossing, which created panic in the area. The young man remained on the top of the tower for about an hour, due to which a huge crowd gathered at the crossing and a traffic jam situation was created.

Eyewitnesses said that the young man seemed to be in an inebriated state and he was standing at the very top of the tower. Seeing him, the people nearby immediately informed the police. The people present below requested the young man to come down several times, but he did not listen to anyone. As soon as the information was received, the police and the municipal corporation team immediately reached the spot.

Seeing the height of the tower and the dangerous condition of the young man, the police and rescue team feared that he might fall. The team tried to convince the young man through a loudspeaker and kept talking to him continuously. After a lot of hard work and persuasion, the young man was finally brought down safely from the tower after about an hour. After the rescue, the police said that the youth was under the influence of a narcotic substance called 'Sulochan'. Sulochan has also been recovered from him. At present, the police is interrogating the youth to find out under what circumstances and for what purpose he climbed the tower.

It is worth noting that this is not the first such incident in Bhopal. Earlier in the month of February, a youth in a drunken state climbed a mobile tower located at Polytechnic Square near CM House. At that time also, the police and administration teams had brought him down safely.
