After China, India Blocks Türkiye's TRT World’s X Account for supporting Pakistan

Ankara/New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): The Indian government has started taking strict action against Pakistan's supporters. After banning the social media accounts of Global Times and Xinhua News, which are considered to be China's government mouthpieces, now the X (earlier Twitter) account of Turkey's government broadcaster TRT World has also been closed in India. It is being told that since 'Operation Sindoor', TRT World was continuously spreading propaganda and misleading news against India.

These broadcasters of Turkey and China are accused of running an anti-India agenda. They were constantly broadcasting fake news and misinformation against India. Apart from this, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also tried to warn India by indirectly supporting Pakistan. After these actions, India has taken this step and banned the social media account of Turkey's major broadcaster.

It is worth noting that the campaign to boycott Turkey is already gaining momentum in India due to its open support to Pakistan. Indian citizens have started boycotting trips to Turkey and Azerbaijan. Many tourist companies have also started cancelling bookings made for Turkey and Azerbaijan, giving priority to national interest. Let us tell you that after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, when the possibility of strict action by India was being expressed, Turkey had started helping Pakistan.
