Alcohol-Fueled Tragedy: Father Opens Fire on Son, Daughter-in-Law

Gorakhpur (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident has come to light from Gorakhpur district in Uttar Pradesh, where a father shot his son and daughter-in-law in a fit of rage. The accused, identified as Hari Yadav, a retired home guard, was under the influence of alcohol when the incident took place.

According to reports, Hari Yadav got into a heated argument with his family members after they asked him to quit drinking. The situation escalated and Yadav opened fire on his son, Anup Yadav and daughter-in-law, Supriya Yadav. Both the injured are said to be in critical condition. Anup Yadav sustained an injury in the chest, while Supriya Yadav was shot in the left hand and stomach. They have been referred to BRD Medical College for treatment.

The Barhalganj SHO confirmed that Hari Yadav has been taken into custody and a case has been registered against him.
