New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Muslim side has received a major setback from the Allahabad High Court as the Allahabad High Court has rejected the civil revision petition of the Muslim side. With this decision of the High Court, it has become clear today that the survey case will proceed in the district court of Sambhal. The single bench of Justice Rohit Ranjan Agarwal has given this decision rejecting the arguments of the Muslim side.

The review petition filed by the Masjid Committee in the High Court against the order of the survey by ASI has been dismissed, due to which the way for the survey of the Masjid seems to be clear. On May 13, after the completion of the debate on the civil revision petition of the Masjid Committee, the High Court had reserved its decision. The Masjid Committee had challenged the maintainability of the case in the Allahabad High Court.
