Amritsar Police on Councillor Harjinder Singh's Murder: All Three Shooters Identified, Will be Arrested Soon

Chandigarh/Amritsar(The Uttam Hindu): The Amritsar police have claimed to have identified all three shooters involved in the murder of Councillor Harjinder Singh and assured that they will be arrested soon.

Police revealed that a group from Jandiala Guru, Amritsar Rural area, associated with 'Krishna Gang,' was responsible for the shooting. So far, three individuals have been identified in the case. One is named Gopi, the second is Amit, and the third is Karan Keeda. All three belong to Jandiala Guru. The vehicle used in the incident has also been identified and is being investigated.

The police emphasized that, under the zero-tolerance policy against gangsterism spearheaded by Punjab's Chief Minister and DGP, stringent action is being consistently taken against criminals under the leadership of Amritsar's Police Commissioner. Today, two shooters from the same Krishna group were arrested by the police. Two pistols and seven live cartridges were recovered from them. No individual involved in this case will be spared either. All culprits will be arrested soon and strict action will be taken against them.
