Army's Search Operation Underway in Kulgam, J&K; Terrorists Believed to Be Hiding, Area Sealed

Srinagar (The Uttam Hindu): After receiving information about terrorists hiding in the Guddar forest area of Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army has started a large-scale search operation. This operation started last night and is still going on. The security forces have cordoned off the entire area and intensified the search operation.

The hit list issued by the army and intelligence agencies includes the names of 14 active terrorists. Of these, 6 terrorists have been killed so far, while the search is on for the remaining 8. The army has made it clear that no terrorist remaining in the valley will be spared.
According to sources, the army took immediate action after receiving information about the presence of some terrorists in the Gaddar forest area of Kulgam district in South Kashmir. A large number of security forces have been deployed in the area and the entire area has been sealed and a search operation is being carried out.
The Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and other security forces are conducting joint operations to curb terrorist activities in the valley. In the last few days, simultaneous search operations have been conducted in many areas, which has weakened the network of terrorists. An army officer said, "We are taking action with full force to make the valley terror-free. The operation will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated."
